Open Night Sky Observation
We had an Open Night Sky Observation on 1st June, 2023 for Grade IX to XII to witness the movements of stars and planets. They observed the Moon, Venus and Mars under the guidance of Retd. Professor Ajit Mohan Srivastava from Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar. Observing the planets and small bodies that inhabit our solar system helped our students answer questions about their formation, how they reached their current diverse state, how life evolved on Earth and possibly elsewhere in the solar system, and what characteristics of the solar system lead to the Origin of Life.
